巴克萊案 港終止訴訟
居於菲律賓的澳洲富商David Peabody旗下公司Lammas Global Corporation誤墮納斯達克交易所前主席馬多夫騙局，高達350萬美元（約2,730萬港元）投資化為烏有。Lammas○九年入稟本港高院，控告為其開設銀行投資戶口的巴克萊瑞士（Barclays Bank（Suisse）S.A.）及五家同系公司違約及疏忽。不過，高院昨認同巴克萊一方的理據，指案件應在瑞士審理，下令終止本港訟訴。
誤墮馬多夫騙局
Lammas○二年在巴克萊瑞士開設戶口，○四年投資350萬元在對沖基金Fairfield Sentry Feeder Fund，基金有份投資在馬多夫騙局。Lammas堅持，開戶文件在香港簽署，Lammas接觸的亦是香港巴克萊銀行代表，因此其控告巴克萊一方的案件，應該在香港審理。
但法官認為，開戶文件訂明糾紛應按開戶銀行所在地的法律解決，由於戶口在瑞士，故裁定針對巴克萊瑞士及巴克萊銀行的申索，應在瑞士進行；餘下針對四家巴克萊海外公司的申索，有關海外派票准許則撤銷。

新浪財經訊北京時間6月4日凌晨消息，醫療運輸公司Air Methods Corp(AIRM)週五宣布，將以2億美元現金收購競爭對手OF Air Holdings Corp。
此項交易已獲得雙方董事會的批准，預計將於7月份完成。
OF Air的主要子公司是Omniflight Helicopters Inc，後者擁有一支大約100架飛機的機隊，在美國各地提供醫療運輸服務。
Omniflight總部位於德州的Addison，截至3月31日的財年營收1.72億美元。 交易完成後，該公司將成為Air Methods的全資子公司。 (愚見)
