隨着香港股票市場蓬勃發展，催生了一眾財經分析員穿梭於各電台、電視財經節目。在眾多股評人當中，陳永陸 (陸叔) 的資歷較為深厚。他於二十年前已公開分析股市走勢，又喜歡將艱深的財經理論轉化為簡單易明訊息，加上態度親切，深受股民愛戴，更有「股壇黃大仙」之稱。
他的投資哲學是「放長線、釣大魚」，亦經常告誡股民切勿「朝種樹，晚界刂板」。
有人視股評人為明燈，亦有人批評他們為「財經演員」。陸叔自言不介意被視為演員，他更將財經知識比喻為劇本，認為要熟讀劇本才能演好角色。一日未為股民離棄，他還會演下去。

上星期RTHK 的《原來錢作怪》中，陳永陸又再為作爲‘演員’辯護。事實上，他在多年前接受星期天《明報》訪問時已經把《財經演員》的頭銜袋袋平安。
不管你喜歡不喜歡《財經演員》 ， 要搞清楚演員是要給你看你喜歡看的戯，而不一定是什麽真知灼見。筆者99年在理工大學MBA 課程周年晚會問當時是嘉賓的陳永陸爲什麽要知道聽衆‘幾錢買’才回答對一隻股票的評論, 他直接了當回答, ‘唔係點知你想聽乜’.

That's why he is so famous among the innocent public, as he talks the thing most people like.
He acts like a 算命佬, just tell people what they like to heard. And these people just want to find some people to comfort them, perhaps they care more about their feelings than their wealth.
Obviously people without solid view will be attracted by this kind of rubbish, as most just want to know the results rather than the process. They don’t want to learn from their mistakes haha.
