記者巡視東門的電玩店，發現原價399港元的普通版遊戲光碟竟索價650元人民幣，折合港元後貴足一倍；附送記憶手指、海報及原聲大碟的特別版炒得更貴，由原價928港元漲至2,400元人民幣。
內地《 D3》瘋炒，源於北京和上海經銷商開售前突然被喝停，連淘寶亦要落架。記者致電台灣總代理查詢，有員工透露：「中國政府不批進入，發生甚麼事我們不曉得。」不過隨着水貨流入，內地《 D3》粉絲不斷激增。在深圳做公務員的阿中以炒價600元購入遊戲，每日打足4、5小時，他說：「得到寶物後可以轉售，玩得開心又可賺錢，不覺得浪費時間！」受內地炒風拖累，《 D3》在香港的售價亦炒高100元，特別版2,000元亦有價有市。

淘寶全面禁售《暗黑破壞神3》，賣家改賣第三代大菠蘿證明了人民群眾的智慧是無窮無盡的，但下面發生的事情又證明了奸商是沒有底線的。日前有用戶在微博以及論壇上爆料稱他們為了玩《暗黑破壞神3》，就在淘寶購買了所謂的“美國第三代大菠蘿”或者“大菠蘿3斤”，但最後收到的不是《暗黑破壞神3》，而是真真正正的3個菠蘿，還是大個兒的。四百多塊錢買了三個菠蘿，虧大發了。
買家為此向淘寶投訴，但淘寶卻認為收到的貨物與商品描述一致，不予受理，買家也只能吃了這個啞巴虧。看來淘寶買《暗黑破壞神3》這個路子是沒法再走了，要麼另求他法，要麼坐等國服。
有人說這跟淘寶沒什麼關系，只是賣家太會鑽空子了，但筆者認為即便是空子也是淘寶留下的，這個監管責任是逃避不了的。
